Which resume tool should I use first?

Are these resume tools the same as an ATS score checker?
The ATS Resume Checker inspects extracted text, visible structure, and optional job-specific evidence, but it does not claim a universal pass percentage. Employers use different systems, configurations, job requirements, knockout questions, and human review processes.
Can I use the tools without an existing resume?
Yes. The no-resume questionnaire captures career facts, projects, responsibilities, tools, and achievements, then rejoins the same Career DNA analysis. Focused tools such as the bullet generator can also begin with raw notes.
Do the tools invent skills, metrics, or achievements?
They are designed not to. Direct evidence is shown as support, adjacent experience remains non-equivalent, and absent evidence becomes a question or gap. You are responsible for verifying every final statement.
What file formats can I upload?
The file-based tools accept PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, PNG, JPG, and JPEG files up to 10 MB. Clear screenshots and scanned documents can use OCR, while text-based PDF and DOCX files are usually easiest to extract.
What is free and what is paid?
The initial strengths report and the first browser-based results in the focused writing tools are available before payment. If you choose to generate and download a complete targeted resume, the first resume costs $1.99 and later resumes cost $4.99 each. There is no subscription or automatic renewal.
What happens to my uploaded resume?
The application processes the source file in memory and discards the original after text extraction. Extracted resume text and analysis can remain in the active session so you can continue the workflow, as described in the Privacy Policy.
